Meses del año - Months of the year

• Enero - January
• Febrero - February
• Marzo - March
• Abril - April
• Mayo - May
• Junio -June
• Julio - July
• Agosto - August
• Septiembre - Septiembre
• Octubre - October
• Noviembre - Noviembre
• Diciembre - December

A quick tip: In Spanish we don't capitalize the months, only if they are at the start of the phrase.Now that we know the months, you can answer the question:          ¿Cuándo es tu cumpleaños?(When is your birthday?)          Mi cumpleaños es en Febrero(My birthday is in February)¡Excelente!

Days of the week - Días de la semana

• Lunes - Monday
• Martes - Tuesday
• Miércoles - Wednesday
• Jueves - Thursday
• Viernes - Friday
• Sábado - Saturday
• Domingo - Sunday

Now you can answer the question:          ¿Qué día es hoy?(What day is it?)          Hoy es sábado(Today is Saturday)          Mañana es domingo(Tomorrow is Sunday)         Ayer fue viernes(Yesterday was Friday)As you can see, we use the verb to be “es”  when we talk about“hoy” - todayAnd mañana - tomorrowWhen we talk about yesterday  “ayer” we use the verb to be in the past: fue.

The seasons - Las estaciones del año

• Invierno - winter
• Primavera - spring
• Verano - summer
• Otoño - fall
