This is one of our favorite English YouTube channels for intermediate and advanced language learners. BBC has an abundance of videos to help you learn English faster. Whether you are looking to get down and dirty into English grammar or you want to follow current events, check out BBC Learn English.
The BBC team reviews key words and phrases from news stories. So you not only keep up-to-date about what’s going on in the world, but you learn English as well.
2. EF
Our second favorite is channel to help you learn English faster. iOn the Go with EF is a vlog series featuring videos from different parts of the world. So if you are interested in travel and learning English, you will enjoy following this series.
Most of the videos from On the Go with EF are short. They cater to an intermediate to advanced English-learning audience. Because the vlogs take you to different spots around the globe, you can compare them to mini-documentaries and you will be able to learn about different places in the world, including culture, flora and fauna of the areas visited.
3. Doing English with Julian
This video is specifically aimed at How to Learn English Faster. Julian speaks British English and recommends learners focus. In other words, Julian suggests cutting down the amount of material that you are trying to learn. Julian suggests for example, mastering the vocabulary you need to talk about the weather.
In a professional setting, you need a certain vocabulary and distinct phrases related to the product or service that you are selling. When people use the term ‘Business English’ it is very broad, whereas if you only need to focus on the vocabulary of selling your product or service, it is focused enough that you can learn it faster.
4. Learn English with Let’s Talk - Free English Lesson
Michelle shares her English learning hacks with this video. The channel has a series of videos with resourceful material to help you improve your English. Michelle suggests that you consider your learning system. If you have specific goals to pass a proficiency exam in English, Michelle suggests that you divide your goals into specific aspects of reading, writing, speaking and listening.
It is important to be an active learner of English. Active learning means that you ‘produce’ while you learn. For example if you watch something in English or listen to something in English, then you should take the opportunity to share what you watched or what you heard with others, using English. Consider writing a post about it, or speaking actively with people about the topic.

5. Real English
This channel has a series of short videos dedicated for English learners. These videos will be more helpful if you are at a beginning level. You’ll learn to hear people speaking fast. The videos are short and include simple conversations. There are opportunities to hear things repeated. You’ll be able to read and listen to key phrases. Many of the videos are interview style. The topics revolve around common, often everyday activities, hobbies or travel.
6. Rachel’s English
Rachel helps you learn how to understand native speech of American English. There are pronunciation lessons that will help your listening comprehension improve. The level is more for beginners to intermediate learners.
7. Speak English with Steve Ford
If you are a beginner to intermediate level learner, you’ll enjoy Steve Ford’s video series. Steve is another YouTuber teaching American English. Steve’s channel features phrases that people say fast in English and after introducing them, he speeds them up little by little. He uses jingles to make English funner. You’ll learn how people in the US really say things such as ‘forget about it’ and ‘what are you going to do about it?’
8. Daily Listening
Do you like to listen to English while doing other tasks such as tidying up? If so, you might like the YouTube channel called Daily Listening. To help you learn English faster, consider active listening to this channel. This channel is best for intermediate to advanced learners.
You might want to write down the key words and expressions that you are learning. If you listen to the audio while performing other tasks, remember to listen as actively as possible and talking about what you learned with your English tutor or English-speaking friends.
9. Never Stop Learning English
Another channel that you might enjoy if you want to listen to English is Never Stop Learning English. There are several ways you may want to learn English from this YouTube channel. One way is to read the subtitles while listening to British English. Because of the illustrations, you can absorb context from the audio. This English Youtube channel focuses on a series of videos at the beginner to intermediate level. There are many different teachers who share idioms, common expressions, grammar tips, and more. Some of the videos are more advanced, such as the one that focuses on listening skills
11. Learn English with BeGlobal
For beginners and intermediate speakers, Learn English with BeGlobal has both American and British English videos to help you learn English faster. Most of the videos are long, ranging from twenty minutes to two hours. You’ll be able to listen to common phrases and choose videos related to specific vocabulary.
